Trend of a cars now a days

                                                                               Carsssssssssssssssss

Now a days cars  where coming with a new technology which mainly have feature of comfort and automaker ,safety ,fuel economy ,automakers, many new features where added with the new technology

There are some special features which every one wants in there cars .

  • GPS System
An automotive navigation system is a satellite navigation system designed for use in automobiles. It typically uses a GPS navigation device to acquire position data to locate the user on a road in the unit's map database. Using the road database, the unit can give directions to other locations along roads also in its database. Dead reckoning using distance data from sensors attached to the drive train, a gyroscope and an accelerator can be used for greater reliability.

  • Double-digit air bags

In an effort to make the highly secured against any crash, the vehicle has been integrated with a specially engineered safety device – air bags, that amount to a double-digit count. The segment-leading 10 air bags installed at vital points of the vehicle have been entrusted with protecting you from any injury in the event of a crash at any speed. The innovative design technique of these air bags makes them awfully relevant to the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, which is striving to make a mark in its segment.Featuring “frontal, head curtain side, front and outboard rear seat side-impact and knee air bags,” you will find the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze comparable to a highly specialized vehicle that takes care all your comfort, safety, and other travel needs silently.

  • Simpler infotainment controls

Sophisticated car infotainment systems have essentially relegated conventional radios and climate controls to the automotive scrap heap, right along with the eight-track player and hand-crank starter.
While improved navigation, communication, and virtually limitless choices for music are always welcomed on the road, some systems can be cumbersome and frustrating to use. And our annual owner surveys have revealed reliability issues, including screen freezes and glitches, some of which we’ve encountered in our test cars.

  • Smaller, more powerful engines
Today almost all manufacturers of four-cylinder engines for automobiles produce the inline-four layout, with Subaru's flat-four engine being a notable exception, and so four-cylinder is synonymous with and a more widely used term than inline-four. The inline-four is the most common engine configuration in modern cars, while the V6 engine is the second most popular.

The inline-four engine or straight-four engine is a type of internal combustion four cylinder engine with all four cylinders mounted in a straight line, or plane along the crankcase. The single bank of cylinders may be oriented in either a vertical or an inclined plane with all the pistons driving a common crankshaft. Where it is inclined, it is sometimes called a slant-four.

  • Stop-start
In automobiles, a start-stop system or stop-start system automatically shuts down and restarts the internal combustion engine to reduce the amount of time the engine spends idling, thereby reducing fuel consumption and emissions. This is most advantageous for vehicles which spend significant amounts of time waiting at traffic lights or frequently come to a stop in traffic jams. This feature is present in hybrid electric vehicles,On a manual transmission vehicle, stop-start is activated as follows: Stop car & depress clutch - move gear lever to neutral - release clutch - then the engine stops. The engine won't stop if the car is moving, even if the aforementioned steps are followed. The engine restarts when the clutch is depressed prior to selecting a gear to move the car. The engine may also restart if there is a demand for power from,

Since automobile accessories like air conditioners and water pumps have typically been designed to run on a serpentine belt on the engine, those systems must be redesigned to function properly when the engine is turned off. Typically, an electric motor is used to power these devices instead.

When this Mazda 3’s engine is stopped, the car’s new i-stop system – the company’s first crack at stop/start – knows which piston is in the best position to restart quickest. It’s the one in the combustion stroke phase, where air and fuel are in the cylinder and ready to be ignited. Sensors pinpoint which cylinder that is, before the mixture is sparked and ignited, forcing that piston down first and firing the engine into life faster. It’s like placing bike pedals just past noon, making it easier to push down and move off. You might think that’s the most pointless factoid ever, but Mazda is justifiably quite proud of that kind of detail. And it makes a difference. When you press the clutch, the engine takes just 0.35 seconds to get going. By comparison, BMW’s stop-starters take 0.7secs, because the starter motor has to churn the engine in a conventional fashion. If you’re first at the lights and you’re determined to use your stop/start, that speck of time is significant.

  • Self start technique
A smart key is an electronic access and authorization system which is available as an option or standard in several cars. The smart key allows the driver to keep the key fob in their pocket when unlocking, locking and starting the vehicle. The key is identified via one of several antennas in the car's bodywork and a radio pulse generator in the key housing. Depending on the system, the vehicle is automatically unlocked when a button or sensor on the door handle or trunk release is pressed. Vehicles with a smart key system fitted have a mechanical backup, usually in the form of a spare key blade supplied with the vehicle.
